The Gardens at Park Balboa Covid-19 Update

To our dearest families and friends,

We are proud to inform you from our Covid-19 testing on 1/5/2021 all results are in and we have zero new positive cases. We have also gone two consecutive weeks without any positive tests and have zero current active cases. The Health Department has previously told us that is the requirement to reopen to restricted visitation as well as modified Resident activities. We will be checking with them on Monday to see if they allow that. As we prep for the vaccine (date is pending) we will be sending out consent forms needing to be filled out by Residents responsible party/power of attorney. We are encouraging everyone to get vaccinated unless it is medically inappropriate.

I want to inform you we have a new Maintenance Director Roberto Gutierrez. Roberto brings to our community over 9 years of experience in maintenance management.

I am also proud to announce caregiver Jonathan has rejoined our team. After experiencing other opportunities Jonathan realized how much he loved his time at the Gardens and wanted to come back home. We are excited to have him back in a new role where he can remain doing caregiving as he loves, but also taking on a trainer role to help in care staff development.
